My Life
J.D.A was born on March 19th, 1991 in the cold streets of Hartford, Connecticut aka Da Beat, CT. He was brought into this world by Monica Berry (mother) and Paul Allen (father). When he turned about 5 years old he and his mother moved from there home in Hartford to Atlanta, Georgia. His mother and father split up. While he was in Atlanta at the age of 8 years old, he met someone who was known by the name of "Blinky". Blinky was of much greater age but "little" J.D.A still hung around him on his porch. One day while he, Blinky, and other kids from the neighborhood were chilling on his porch, Blinky pulled out a pencil and sheet of paper and started to write. "Young" J.D.A asked, "What are you doing?" Blinky replied, "Writin' raps". Blinky then resided his lyrics. That night "young" J.D.A felt inspired and started to write lyrics of his own. Blinky was his inspiration to start rapping. When he first started to rap he was known around the neighborhood as "Slick". Ever since then he has been rapping. Anytime he felt angry, happy, upset, or anything he would write it down. When he reached the middle of his 6th grade year, he moved back to his home of Hartford. When He got back to Hartford he attended Thirman L. Milner Elementary School and was known as "Killa J". When he reach Jr. High, he attended Lewis Foxx Middle and joined his first rap group known as "Night Shift" as J.D.A. Once he reached high school he and his mother moved to The Bronx, New York. His mother was hoping to get him out of the killing environment that he was living in. He then attended TAFT high school where he has big hopes of becoming a signed rapper. He is now a junior in high school and is trying to make it without the support of a father who has been deported to Jamaica and living at home with a single mother. His flow is grimy but sophisticated and can talk about anything over a beat. Growing up from hood to hood is something that is a key factor to his burning desire to be discovered. While everybody is eating good in the front row, J.D.A is starving in the back and waiting on his turn to eat. Soon everyone will be chanting "J.D.A!"
